In-N-Out catering is a mobile service featuring different types of mini trucks serving its iconic burgers, fries, and shakes. Their own staff manages all of these services. In-N-Out catering includes the Cookout trailer, also known as the Cookout truck, the Esther truck, and the Cookout charger. These trucks are used based on the event type.

Cookout Trailer

It is a 65-foot mini self-contained truck which serves burgers, potato chips, and soft drinks. Milkshakes and fries are not available at the cookout trailer due to a shortage of space. It requires 85 feet of space, 11feet in width, and 14 feet in length, which becomes difficult to adjust during events. It is most popular for weddings, parties, and corporate events.

Esther Snyder Truck

Another type of food truck is named after the co-founder of the In-N-Out Burger chain, called the Esther Snyder Truck. It is used for funding and charity events, and serves mini burgers and fries. They charge 15% extra for this truck and use that extra amount for child abuse victims.

Cookout Charger

Cookout charger is an EV charging station to manage events without the worry of fuel running out, or to support trucks with their fry equipment units.

Their menu includes burgers, chips, fries, and different types of drinks. All these menus are not available in one truck. You have to order the truck that would meet your needs.

Their non-veg menu includes beef patties, animal style burgers, double-double, hamburgers, grilled cheese,  and animal style fries. The guests can customize their order at the truck, like adding extra cheese or a spread.

Vegetarian and Kid-Friendly Options at In-N-Out Events

There is no special vegan menu at either the In-N-Out chain or at their Food Trucks. Although some customizations can be made in their regular burgers. For vegans, options like grilled cheese, veggie burger, protein-style, fries, and toppings are available, but cross-contamination can happen.

For kids, options like plain build, customized cheeseburgers, and side spreads are available. For drink options, classic shakes and Neapolitan shakes are best to their taste. You can also ask for stickers and paper hats to truck staff to them engaged.

Drinks and Shakes Add-Ons for Catering Packages

Milkshakes are not present in a standard truck, and drinks are only available in a customized package. If you are planning to add drinks to the standard menu, you will need to make a special order in your contract. When signing your contract for a food truck, you have to customize your package for drinks, which would include pink lemonade, iced teas, cherry Coke, Dr. Pepper, Barq's Root Beer, 7Up, and Minute Maid Pink and soft drinks.

Milkshakes still won’t be available under contract due to space constraints in the standard truck. For skates, you can visit an In-N-Out store and make a delivery, or you can engage a third-party dessert caterer. And if that is not difficult for you, hire an ice cream or milkshake cart or pre-bottled shakes to make your event easier for you.

In-N-Out catering costs depend upon the guest list, location, and type of truck you order. It has the capacity to feed 100 to 250 people at an event. If you order a cookout trailer that includes flat service and a tip fee of $3,750 plus tax for 150 guests. On average, the cost, it can range between $700 to $1400 for an event.

Cheeseburger $6.80 + Tax
Hamburger $6.20 + Tax

Fountain Drinks (20 oz.) $2.75 + Tax
